Pickleball Instructor

Johnathan was born and raised in La Quinta, and fell in love with Pickleball several years ago, as he segued from racquetball and tennis. Before coming to Tradition, Johnathan was hooked on the sport starting at the La Quinta Resort, and from there he went on to become the Pickleball Coach at PGA West. Coach says what he loves about the sport is how inclusive it is- anyone can play, and it is a great way to bring people together in a fun, and easily learned sport. Johnathan’s favorite trick on the court is the “Ernie”- where he jumps over the kitchen to hit the ball out of the air, the ball lands on the court and he lands outside of the court. When he isn’t facilitating open play at the club, holding clinics, or giving private lessons at TGC, Johnathan loves working out, hiking in our beautiful local area, and playing tennis with his daughter. Johnathan is excited for this season at TGC and can’t wait to share his professional expertise with our members.
